DESCRIPTION:To incite interest, put a small amount of gel on the roof of the animal's mouth or on his or her nose. Thereafter, the gel may be dosed by placing on the paw. This formula is highly palatable. 1/2 teaspoon (2.34 grams) contains 368 mg (2 mEq) of Potassium Gluconate in a palatable base. Recommended dosage rate for adult dogs and cats is 1/2 teaspoon (2.34 grams) for every 10 pounds of body weight administered two times each day. Dosage rate can be adjusted based on the animal's response.
